bit of a moan ..bit of a blog!

Hey ladies!

I haven’t posted a blog in about a week and I’m sorry for that it’s just because my laptop broke on me and I’ve been super busy with college. I’ve got loads reviews and blog post I need to do but just haven’t got the time or laptop at the moment!
I’m going to be doing a blog about makeup tricks and tips. I read quite a lot of these and I’ve made a few up myself but I thought I would share the ones with you that I think really work!!

Have you got tired eyes?
Easy peasy just get a white eye liner pencil and put it from the corner of your eyes then stop half way.. and this makes your eyes look refreshed like you’ve had a great night sleeps.

Do you hate getting waterproof mascara of?
I love waterproof mascara I just hate getting it off at night. So what I do is apply a normal mascara first then add the waterproof over the top of it. Make it easy peasy to get off at night.

Don’t you hate it when you have dry lips and your lipstick looks horrible on?
What I do is put a layer of Vaseline on my lips first let that become a bit sticky then I put my lipstick over the top of it so you get a even surface.

Don’t you hate it when you see people working around with the foundation two shades to dark or light?
Well that because you should have a foundation shade for summer and a different one for winter because your skin colour changes with each season.

Don’t like you nose?
I have a horrible nose so what I like to do is get a highlighter which is a dark brown and shade down the sides of my nose. This make it look much smaller then what it actually is.

Does anybody use these tricks?

5 fun facts about your hair..

Just a quick post to tell you some fun facts about your hair...

1. The normal scalp contains approximately 100,000 – 150,000 hair follicles

2. Hair is made of keratin, the same substance that forms nails and the barrier at the top of the skin.

3. Your chance of going gray increases 10-20% every decade after 30 years. (ohhh sccaryyy)

4. Pulling out 1 gray hair does NOT cause 7 to grow back. What it will do however is cause damage to the root preventing any other hairs to grow back.

5.It grows faster in summer than winter, and faster by day than by night.

Review.. Body America lip butter :)

Hey girless!

I've been trying to post this review for a couple of days now but have been super busy with college and also the website has been down!

Body America lip butter!!!

I'm in love with this lip product, the flavour or scent is vanilla and strawberry. And no word of a lie it smells of vanilla and strawberry, it has the most beautiful taste to it...and has probably many other out there if something doesn’t taste nice then it’s a no go for me but I could actually eat this product!! Love it.
This was only £4.00 from house of Fraser and there have a couple of other ones that might pick up on my travels. Also the box it comes in is super cuteee!

Facial Skin Care Routine and products..

I love reading people skincare routine so I thought to myself why not do one? So here just a little post on what products I’m using and how I’m using them. If I found a product I like and it works well with my skin I will stick with it. I’ve got combination skin which is a nightmare sometimes, I have a really oily t-zone (it’s more oily in the summer), sensitive cheeks and a couple of dry patches here and there.

The current Facial skin care routine and products that I’m using at the moment are:

* Almond make up remover.
I do like this product its just that I’m not really a milky/lotion cleanser type of person I preGATINEAU fer facial washes or foaming cleansers I don’t no what I like about them cleanser so much it's just that I feel like I’ve had a good wash afterwords.But its this make up remover is a okay product it does what it say on tin" removes all traces of makeup" .I won’t buy it again but I will use it up because I hate wasting products ,The only thing is that I got it for Christmas and it’s in salon size which is 400ml so it’s going to take a while!

How do I use this product?
I don’t use a cleanser or a facial wash in the morning because I found that it’s better if I only cleanser it once a day however I do use a toner in the morning.
I use this product at night to remove all my makeup.

* GATINEAU gentle cleansing lotion for eyes
Hmmmmm it’s a good eye makeup remover, even gets rid of my waterproof makeup. But I’m in love with my simple eye make-up remover I’m just really fussy when it comes to my eyes. And same as the makeup remover ill use it but I won’t repurchase it. Its 400ml so its salon size.

How do I use this product?
I use this at night even when I haven’t got any eye makeup on just to cleanse the eyes.

* Simple kind to skin eye makeup remover
I love love love this product I’ve been using it for about 2 years. It’s just so gentle and doesn’t sting my eyes. I’ve all got a little bit left but once I finish my Gatineau one ill be repurching another one of these.

How do I use this product?
I use this exactly the same at night when I’ve got eye makeup on or when I haven’t!

* GATINEAU skin exfoliate
I love this exfoliate It's one of the best ones I’ve tired. It just smells good and it’s like a pinky/Perl colour and the grains are tiny but effective. I will definitely buy this product again.

How do I use this product?
I put a small amount into my hands with a bit of water and rub them together then I put the exfoliate all over my face I like to rub it in for about a minute then wash it off with luke warm water with a sponge. I use this once or twice a week.

* Mud therapy Superdrug deep cleansing mask
I love how my skin feel after a mud mask but the only things is because I’ve got really sanative cheeks I cant put the mud mask on them so I buy them food smelling mask( the really good smelling ones) from body care there only about a pound and then I put them on my cheeks.

How do I use this product?
I put this on just before I go in the bath and I leave it for about 10 minutes and I wash it off with a sponge. I use this once a week.

* NIVEA visage refreshing toner
I bought this when I bought my nivea facial wash (I’ve used that all up). I went through a nivea stage about 4 months ago. Anyways I do like this toner it’s not the best one but it works really well for my skin. I might buy this one again depends if I have a mini haul on skin products this probably will end up in my shopping trolley.

How do I use this product?
Once in the morning and once at night.
I put some on a cotton wool pad and then I dab it all over my face and neck I then blotto with a tissues to get any excuse of my skin.

*Simple kind to skin hydratighting light moisturiser
I struggle with facial moisturiser I seem to try loads of them. Finding the perfect face moisturiser is hard! This one is nice and light feeling it’s only a 12 hr moisturiser though! Its good and ill use up but next time I’m out shopping ill probably buy a different one.

How I use this product?
I use this morning and night I put a bit on my hands and rub them together then I rub it all of my face . I apply a little bit more to my nose it gets really dry there.

Oh also I went in to Debenhams today because I’m looking for a new foundation but don’t want to buy one and hate it so I got a sample of Lancôme Paris TEINT IDOLE ULTRA number 010 colour beige porcelain. I love the sample bottle it is so cute.

Mini Haul :)

Just a quick haul on some hair products that I picked up today whilst out shopping on a budget. There nothing more that I hate is shopping on a budget but sometimes it’s got to be done. Ive been looking for a good cheap blonde shampoo and conditioner I really did want the john Frieda one but just couldn’t afford it so ive settled for a less expensive one. Ill also add a review on all the items once ive tried them . So the things I picked up today are:
* Creighton’s brilliant blonde colour enhancing shampoo and conditioner.
I’m naturally blonde I just want to go a little bit lighter without dyeing it. This was only 99p each from body care. I’ll be posting a review up in the next couple of days .

*Mess head hair therapy shine serum
My hair gets ridicules frizzy hair and anyone who dose knows what a night mare it is. So I thought I would pick some serum up and see if it calms it down a bit. This was £1.19 from body care.

*bastiste nude dry shampoo
This is the product I’m more excited about. I love dry shampoo but this one is different it’s in powder form.


Has any of you girles used the shampoo and conditioner what do you think of it?

Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse, collection 2000 lasting perfection foundation , also a natural collection one that I mix with my moisturizer to make a tinted moisturiser. I’ve not found a perfect foundation yet!

-How about concealer?
Natural collection but I’ve got a few depends on where I going.

-Do you know your undertone colour?
Not really I’m really pale though.

-What do you think of fake eyelashes?
I like them, I can only wear certain ones though because my eyes are so small

-Did you know that you are supposed to change your mascara every 3 months?
Yes I did.

-What brand of mascara do you use?
Depends on what mood I’m in or where I’m going. I’ve got quite a lot.

MAC

No.

Whats In My Bag?

I've seen loads of people on YouTube do what’s in my bag/purse and I thought I would do a blog version. I was quite excited about this blog post actually.
My bag is only small I don’t carry around loads of things, however I have got a college bag that bigger and got loads of things in it... maybe I will do what’s in my college bag? Hmmmmm.
The items in my bag depends on what I’m wearing or where I’m going but today it's got in it.

The items that are in my bag are:
* 3 L'IMPERATRICE D&G
I love this perfume its smells very fruity. You can smell watermelon more than anything else. The only thing is that I found myself reapply it several times a day because the smells doesn’t last as long as I would like.
It was about £40.00 pounds I got this from boots. There 5 other perfumes in the collection i also want number 10. the perfume in y bag depends on what im wearing on the day.
* Hand cream by soap & glory
I got this hand cream for christmas out of a soap & glory set from my mum. It's a okay hand cream not the best smelling one but it dosent leave me greasy which for me is a big thing I hate greasy hands. If you want to buy this hand cream you can get it from boots and its £4.85 but sometimes they have 3 for 2 so it’s worth checking it out :)
* My favourite colour lipstick it’s by natural collection and the colour called rose petal.
I love the colour of this lipstick it’s like a soft coral colour but the only thing is that it doesn’t last 2 minutes and I like lipsticks that stain your lips so you don’t have to keep reapplying. And this was £1.99
*Ribena drink
Because you never know when you’re going to get thirsty. I'm a bit geeky like that.
* My purse
It’s got in it my boots advantage card, my bank card ,my national insurance number ,last year student card , my vtct number , IKEA family card , Matalan card, my personal driving licences and about 9 pounds.I love anything floral so I instantly fell in love with this plus I was getting sick of my big purse. It was about £4.00 pounds I think. And it’s from Primark!
* Blackberry curve (my phone)
My mum bought me this for my 18th birthday. I couldn’t live without it but I just wish the battery wasn’t so rubbish on it. I’m unsure how much it costed :)

collection 2000 - lock and hold lipgloss up to 6 hour wear

I love love love these lip glosses I only have two at the moment but there so pigmented and it really dose stay on up to 6 hours. There only £2.99 bargain you can get them from Superdrug, boots and Wilkinson. The colours I got is body pop 1 and rock steady 3. The only thing i dont like about this is the brush its a little bit to big.
Body pop 1 is a really pink colour, so this lip gloss is good on its own
Rock steady 3 is good over lipsticks to tone bright colours down.

So i've wanted to blog for a while i just didnt no if i could keep up with it sooo i thought why not just have a go :)

Its not gonna be in depth blog, its just gonna be a blog on all things girly :)
